This position assists the Field Audit Supervisor with evaluating the operating effectiveness of the internal controls in the district offices of Kemper Life. The Senior Quality Control Analyst position is responsible for analytics, continuous monitoring, executing quality controls, data mining to identify trends, and reporting on assigned reviews.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the execution and delivery of key quality controls in field practices and reporting, testing, and their interdependencies
  • Analyze data identifying trends and outliers to create a proactive approach leading to fewer investigations
  • 1st Level communication of exceptions and findings for district reviews and monitoring
  • Serve as the 1st Level escalation point to resolve conflicts, project issues, and deviations
  • Provide status update to the Audit Supervisor including proposed budget and timeline
  • Facilitate in the development of artifacts (e.g. Testing Templates, Communication and Escalation Protocols) to be used
  • Provide continuous stakeholder engagement to build and maintain relationships
  • Ensure coordination of QA processes and results with Regional Vice Presidents and District Managers
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years of office experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

  • Understanding of operational, financial, and regulatory risks and risk mitigation
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, written and oral presentation skills, strong analytic skills and ability to work in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated initiative to change and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
