Job Description :

The Business Administrator is responsible for providing support to our Operations Teams. The Business Administrator will assist in supporting business operations, handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving clerical, administrative functions, scheduling, travel arrangements event coordination, licensing, and work-related bookkeeping tasks.

What you’ll do as a Business Administrator (Licensing & Events)?

  • Draft, modify and maintain agreements, addendums, and other business-related documents.
  • Facilitate effective coding, payment, and approval of business expenses.
  • Evaluate existing licensing process to provide and execute recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as the company resource for any licensing issues and questions.
  • Manage database and vendor relationships related to licensing compliance.
  • Ensure that appropriate licensing is in place and communicate with necessary personnel across the company regarding their licensing.
  • Interact with state regulatory agencies to ensure that licenses meet necessary requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with state laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor existing licenses and permits.
  • Review applications for new licenses, permits, and one-time events.
  • Perform administrative duties in support of special events, public outreach initiatives, and related programs and activities.
  • Manage planning and logistics for company events including but not limited to Circle of Excellence, Annual Leadership Summit, Company Holiday Party, etc.
  • Promote events, identify invitees, send invites, and track responses. Ensure operations run smoothly on the day of the event.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and make travel itineraries.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • The ability to analyze information and data to reach sound conclusions.
  • An ability to prepare and present material to a variety of audiences.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with others.
  • A history of using diplomacy, discretion, and good judgement when dealing with confidential/proprietary information.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
