Who We Are

Leah’s Pantry is a California-based nonprofit with a nationwide footprint in the area of trauma-informed nutrition. We envision communities where everyone can cultivate a healthy relationship with food and their bodies. We build and implement community nutrition and food security programs that align with trauma-informed, resilience-focused principles. Our extensive training program works with professionals across settings and sectors to implement a variety of nutrition and food security programs and curricula. We also promote trauma-informed nutrition principles and policies at the county, state, and national level via collaboratives, working groups, and conferences. Additionally, we hold the Statewide Training contract for California’s SNAP-Ed program (CalFresh Healthy Living), which provides training, technical assistance, and capacity building for state and local implementing agencies and their staff.

Where You Fit In

We are looking for a highly organized Customer & Technical Support Specialist who can provide support to our growing client base. Reporting to the Product and Marketing Manager, this position will provide email, telephone, and web-based support to clients and partners, including management of website content for three websites (leahspantry.org, eatfresh.org, cfhlstatewidetraining.org.) . Additionally, this position will prepare reports and conduct basic data analysis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented; excel in customer service and be comfortable with website content management and basic data analytics.

What You’ll Do

Position Responsibilities:

Customer Support

  • Provide technical assistance to learning management system users
  • Monitor incoming client support requests submitted through Leahspantry.org, EatFresh.org, and CFHLStatewideTraining.org
  • Courteously and promptly resolve customer questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate staff
  • Facilitate materials orders for Leah’s Pantry and external partners; and provide information on invoices and shipments
  • Support website visitors via the website chat feature
  • Other partner support tasks as assigned

Website Content

  • Work with internal staff to update content on leahspantry.org, eatfresh.org, and CFHLStatewideTraining.org
  • Support external requests for content updates such as broken links, missing content, log in credential requests etc.
  • Perform audits and regular reviews of website content

Data & Reporting

  • Manage analytics for websites and online products (leahspantry.org, CFHLStatewideTraining.org, EatFresh.org and the EatFresh.org Mini Course)
  • Develop process for aggregating and analyzing program data for internal use as well as reporting on government contracts
  • Coordinate and submit reporting data for government contracts

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Candidates with personal or professional experience with trauma-informed care may be prioritized.
  • 2-4 year’s customer related experience
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting

Skillset:

  • Experience working in customer support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving thinker
  • Experience with data analysis; skilled at recognizing patterns and outliers, then able to communicate how best to use that information to shape programming, articulate impact, and meet goals
  • Experience with Google Analytics: ability to create custom dashboards, pull data for reporting requirements, and analyze patterns in data
  • Experience using content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office and Google Docs. Ability to format spreadsheets, make efficient use of formulas, and stay digitally organized
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Special Requirements:

  • Located in California and possession of a valid California Drivers’ License
  • Proof of COVID vaccination status
  • Background check, including DMV report
