Drafter – JOS1981 – GA State (Custom Casework & Retail Store Fixtures)
Starting base salary: $50-62K
Summary
The successful Drafter will utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other companies provided software programs that produce accurate 2D & 3D models, shop drawings, and submittal drawings for internal and external customers, submission to architects and to populate product archives.
Responsibilities

• Create and complete complex drafting assignments, drawings, and models from written and verbal specifications obtained from outside architects, general contractors, and customers, under minimal supervision while meeting company standards.

• Maintain all product specification revisions, work with designers and program managers to identify model accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation.

• Consistent in maintaining acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager as well as Team Member Manual.

• Complete project responsibilities within scope of order, schedule to support production, and review drawings for completion and accuracy.
• Check engineering drawings compliance with cited specifications, provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Prepare engineering documents for customer submittal, research, take-off, and requisition of materials.
• Provide product specification, dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
• Meet departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of prior 3D design work experience required.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and complete a wide variety of tasks.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Drafting, Design, or similar required, or equivalent of minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
