Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for an Echo Technologist (Diagnostic Sonographer III) to join our Diagnostic Imaging team!

Candidates with strong echo or vascular experience are highly preferred.

This is a day shift opening, with the option to work 4 10 hour shifts or 5 8 hour shifts per week and opportunities to cross-train into other Ultrasound modalities.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Sonographer responsibilities include performing diagnostic examinations by producing, assessing, and evaluating ultrasound images and related data.

The Diagnostic Sonographer III, under the direction of a qualified physician, Diagnostic Imaging Director, and senior staff, provides clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Diagnostic Sonographer III performs their duties independently and according to the specialty areas they are registered and competent in. They are distinguished from the lower levels in that this level requires registration in Adult Echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competency in Vascular.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography or Echocardiography. (Completes annual educational requirements to maintain valid registration.)
Experience: At least two (2) years of recent experience (within the last five (5) years) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Triple modality or ECHO/vascular tech preferred.

  • Registered in Adult Echo or registered in two non-cardiac specialties and competent in Vascular.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) at time of appointment and for continued employment.

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR Certification at time of appointment and for continued employment.

Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
