Wholesale Lumber Company operating throughout New England has an immediate opening for a high energy, organized, detail-oriented candidate with strong interpersonal skills and interest in career advancement to manage and lead the EWP program.

Working knowledge of structural engineering principles required based on formal training or practical experience. Job function requires the ability to provide direct technical support to retail lumber dealers, salespeople and contractors from start to finish, ie, purchasing, sales, quoting and design work. Candidate must be able to read blueprints, design EWP applications and produce take-offs with quotations. The ability to operate CAD will be considered an advantage.

Sign-On Bonus Program

Hood Distribution will pay up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus to a new employee that successfully completes the designated employment milestones. All payouts are grossed by and subject to taxation.

• 90 – probationary period – $1,000.00
• 6 month anniversary – $500.00
• 1 – year anniversary – $500.00
