Job Description :

Field Engineer

Riverside Contracting is looking to hire a well-qualified Field Engineer. We are a highway construction company with job locations in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.

Responsibilities include:

 Maintain accurate quantity and production records.

 Oversee or assist with all project Safety, Compliance and Quality programs and processes.

 Develop and implement contract administration plans including change orders, materials tracking.

 Project scheduling and coordination with Subcontractors and Materials Suppliers.

 Ability to relocate and travel as business needs arise.

 Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.

 Assisting in performing the work as necessary.

 Being present on the assigned project in various and remote locations.


 Applicable degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. OR, extensive applicable experience.

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Effective and clear communicator via face to face, phone, email, text, etc.

 Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done (grab a shovel, get hands dirty, etc.).

 Attention to detail and ability to recognize and correct discrepancies.

 Team orientated, but able to work independently.

 Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in inclement weather.

 Equipment operating experience and Class A CDL preferred.
