Front Desk Coordinator


The front desk is the key position in our company. This person is the office atmosphere promoter/fun team player, so personality is most critical. We promote having an upbeat/fun office while doing our jobs and interacting with coworkers and management.

The following job description illustrates the duties, responsibilities, and attitudes of our front desk position. Depicted below are the job functions designed to administer the three priorities of our Agency.

1) Superior service to the paying potential hiring agencies.

2) Operational efficiency for an inspiring work environment.

3) Optimal Revenue Generation.


  • Maintaining front desk, lobby traffic, and appointment calendar utilizing Microsoft Office 365. This includes answering ALL incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments for qualified applicants, screening phone calls for counseling staff/management staff and transferring appropriate calls to personnel.
  • Manage lobby traffic by setting applicants up with applications prior to meeting with recruiters. This includes sending applicants out for drug testing, driving records and/or typing tests if needed prior to interview.
  • Assist the Recruiters/Sales team with projects, running ads on Jobs Indeed, Craigslist and other social media, and whatever else is needed to promote production minimums.
  • Utilize social media by researching resumes and making appointments for those who meet requirements for current positions.
  • Maintenance of supply order list with direction from management staff.
  • Schedule appointments for applicants received from outside referrals. (For example, resumes received from Alaska’s Job Fairs and a variety of other outside resources).
  • Make sure that all vital forms are stocked at all times. This includes PR Packets, Job Order Forms, Applications, and any other forms as directed by management staff.
  • As time permits call applicants regarding availability and reminder calls the night before interview appointments and payroll.
  • Assist with mail-outs as directed
  • Maintain applicant status database for upwards of 3 tax years. This includes entering applicants and filing them according to their status in Access.
  • Keep referral log and tally numbers current for tracking applicant traffic.


  • Upkeep of front lobby, testing room and break room. This includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning coffee pot and surrounding area, taking out trash. This also includes general organization and overall cleanliness of Personnel Plus. It is very important that our office is clean and neat at all times, no exceptions!
  • Other duties as time permits assigned by management.

POSITION: Front Desk Coordinator

HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00

PAY RATE: $15/hr.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
