Job Description :

Provide strategic HR consultative services for one or more manufacturing facilities of increasing complexity, by ensuring the adoption of HR related programs and initiatives that support the employee life cycle. Proactively identify talent related needs and partner with leadership and HR Centers of Expertise to solution. Enable achievement of business objectives and influence talent decisions through application of HR best practice. Manage time, resources, and cross functional coordination effectively to optimize HR business partner impact.

Job Description:

  • Under general supervision, provide consultative support on complex people related matters pertaining to one or more facilities.
  • Understand and implement established HR related programs at the facilities in support of the employee life cycle. Report on plant-level Human Resources key performance indicators.
  • Understand the business environment, objectives, and people implications in order to help the facility meet and exceed its financial and operational metrics.
  • Effectively communicate facility progress against metrics and make the connection to employee related implications in order to proactively solution.
  • Proactively engage HR Business Partner team and HR Centers of Expertise to learn and share best practice to achieve process efficiency and an improved employee experience.
  • Complete or direct hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Manage routine and more difficult employee relations activities utilizing strong judgement and communication skills, demonstrate understanding of company policies and legislative requirements, and work with internal/external parties, such as attorneys and the EEOC, to resolve.
  • Coach employees and leaders to foster effective and productive working relationships and advise supervisors on performance, behavior and development related matters.
  • Ensure that programs are carried out in accordance with Company policies and procedures and clarify and interprets Company guidelines for all employees.
  • Identify gaps in policy and process and raise to HR Business Partner network.
  • Provide training and present information to employees and managers in a large and small group format. Bridge compliance with purpose and intention as it relates to the employee experience.
  • Partner with Centers of Expertise to provide the HR Business Partner point of view on employee related programs and drive adoption of programs within the facilities.
  • Assist and/or perform in any and all areas as assigned.
  • May be the first HR point of contact for all employee related questions at the facility.
  • May directly supervise HR Business Partners and/or contribute to their development.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Recommended Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience:

  • Recommended 7 years related work experience.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Exhibit In depth and increasing understanding of HR concepts and principles.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Exhibit effective cooperation and communication skills to effectively work within a team environment.
  • Effectively give and receive feedback; willingly asks questions and seek direction, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,252.00 – $117,813.00 per year
