As a Human Resources Coordinator & Recruiter, you will provide HR support to a manufacturing facilities located in Sheridan, Wyoming. Additionally, you will provide human resources support and organization to the HR function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, employee recognition and events).

Job Duties:

  • Assist with new-employee orientations at headquarters to train employees on HR policies, benefits and enrollment provisions.
  • Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports such as I-9, EE0-1 and other compliance reviews.
  • Front line employee resource for payroll, benefits, recruiting and general HR policy and procedure questions. Use electronic and stationary bulletin boards, signage, our HRIS, email and other vehicles to communicate information to employees
  • Identifies and screens candidates for background and fit. Coordinates interviews with the extended interview team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding candidates, employees and the company.
  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations
  • Proficiency in NCS’s HRIS system: Enroll new hires in HRIS
  • Review billings for accuracy and codes appropriately.
  • Track and coordinate acknowledgements regarding employee milestones, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement, loss of loved ones, etc.
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, Human Resources concentration preferred
  • 2 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a human resources department, working in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to interface positively and effectively with internal and external customers, including employees at all levels of the organization and with diverse groups
  • Ability to write clear, concise, narrative and statistical reports, effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate through reports
  • Able to be flexible and work independently with minimal direction
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of HR laws, compliance and best practices
  • Must demonstrate initiative and deliver results; detail-oriented; must ensure a high level of accuracy
  • Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, presence and demeanor
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
