Job Description :
Our Human Resources Generalist is responsible for reconciling daily labor hours, weekly payroll processing, hiring and interviewing, administering benefits, and enforcing company policy. This full-time salary position will assist in the oversight of the
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Reconcile daily labor hours and process weekly payroll
- Recruit, interview, and hire applicants; collaborate with leadership to understand the needs required for positions.
- Partner with hiring leaders, to share applicable updates, as related to recruitment and retention.
- Execute new hire and benefit orientations, and manage benefits and associated leave tracking for employees.
- Ensure appropriate performance management documentation is completed for employees through leadership.
- May participate in employee meetings, separations of employment, and employee investigations.
- Oversee HR initiatives at their locations such as benefit open enrollment benefit and performance reviews.
- Develop and propose employee engagement plans, get necessary budget approval, and initiate activities.
- Maintain compliance with employment regulations, and recommended best practices.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to flex work schedule to address special needs, and be “on call” for Human Resources related concerns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to have high capacity.
- Time management skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and partner with HR Coordinator.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn the organization’s HRIS systems quickly.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience.
- At least three years of Human Resources experience within an operational or manufacturing setting.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk, typing on a computer, and talking on the phone.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Ability to repetitively twist or turn; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow dress code guided by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
