We are looking for a Jr. Staff Accountant to join our growing team!

The candidate who fills this role will be a key part of our accounting team and will be involved in many collaborative processes with other departments within the organization. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, enjoys collaborating and problem solving and possess a can-do attitude.

Job Responsibilities

• Process checks (EFTs / other location checks)
• Process daily deposits for each location
• Reconcile gift card logs
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Process warranty cancellation refunds
• Process AR check payments received
• Process AR reports for Parts/Service and rebates
• Reconcile GL accounts upon request
• Review / investigate payables and receivables as necessary

Requirements

• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer aptitude, which includes Microsoft excel and word as well as experience with accounting software and general ledgers
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to prioritize
• Strong commitment to achieving deadlines
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Previous accounting experience preferred
