Job Description :

We are seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team at The Animal Clinic & Lodge at Ingram Farms! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe, and comfortable lodging experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding, watering, and bathing of the animals
• Administer lodger medications under veterinary supervision
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Cleaning & disinfecting kennels in a timely manner after lodger check-out
• Keep laundry clean and folded
• Basic cleaning of kennel and veterinary areas, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters / walls

Qualifications:

• Resume required
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-tasker
• Lift 50 pounds

Weekly work schedule will consist of two weekday shifts and one alternating weekend shift. Our shift hours are 7:30 am-5:00 pm.

During peak times, we have 20 lodgers present at our facility. During non-peak times, we have 6-8 lodgers present. This is a physically demanding position, however, all areas of our facility are climate-controlled. The candidate will be expected to complete daily tasks according to the training protocols that we provide.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
