Position Summary:

A Network Records Specialist is responsible for internal database user support, standards enforcement, CLLI Code creation/maintenance, creating minor device models and performing data quality improvements within the Physical & Logical Inventory database.

Job Responsibilities

  • Focused on location verification and CLLI® code creation using CLONES®
  • Provide user support, via phone, email or Helpdesk ticket
  • Create and/or update objects in our OSS/BSS per Service Delivery workflow or Network Expansion
  • Work with outside departments to reconcile data discrepancies
  • Test automation and integration opportunities within the OSS/BSS
  • Perform user acceptance testing software releases and code drops within the OSS/BSS
  • Follow standards and procedures when working in the OSS/BSS
  • Execute quality checks on the data to ensure asset integrity and resolve data conflicts to maintain compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Candidate Qualifications

Skills & Abilities

  • Comfortable working in Excel
  • Working experience using an Inventory Resource database as a user
  • Clear intercommunication skills
  • Mature self-management skills
  • Willingness to multitask or change direction quickly
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to follow through
  • Working experience in any of these databases is highly desired: NetCracker, Granite, Circuit Vision, NetCracker Inventory Resource, CLONES®, Metasolv, GE Smallworld

Job Knowledge

  • 3 years of telecommunications experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Job Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a OSS/BSS


  • Associate degree or equivalent years of experience, education and/or training

Reports to: Supervisor Network Records

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week).
