The position of Assistant Project Manager reports to the Director, Preconstruction and contributes to our success by playing an assistant project manager, project coordinator and support role on projects in the preconstruction and construction phases.

You will generally work remotely from a workspace in Kalispell, MT, but may be asked to travel from time to time.


  • Collaborate with project team members to align on schedule, cost, and scope.
  • Perform drawing take-offs.
  • Develop scope of work.
  • Estimating.
  • Bid leveling.
  • Schedule creation and management.
  • Manage meeting agendas and minutes followed up by proactive task follow up.
  • Review Hotel Brand guidelines and ensure conformity in design and cost alignment.
  • Drawing review and quality control.
  • Subcontractor outreach and communication.

Position Objectives:

  • Minimize scope gaps by being thorough in estimating.
  • Assisting with ensuring minimum 3 bids per trade where applicable.
  • Assisting with ensuring full kit Lockaway when the project is handed off from Preconstruction to Construction.

Research & Development:

  • Pursue individual professional/skill development (e.g. Smartsheet training, Bluebeam training).
  • Pursue subcontractor relationships and ways for the company to have better control costs.
  • Continuously improve systems and processes.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Time management and priority planning skills.


· Experience:

  • Technology experience with Excel, Smartsheet or similar.
  • Finance/ Accounting background is preferred.

· Education:

  • High school graduation.

· Work authorization:

  • United States (Required).

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
