Proform Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join its Quality Assurance team located in Muskogee OK. This is not a remote position and travel is unlikely.

This is an exempt level position that is paid on a weekly basis. Benefits are offered after the first month of employment. Please see the below detailed description of the position prior to applying.

Position Summary: The Quality Manager role is a leadership position that demonstrates commitment with respect to the Quality Management System, Quality Policy and all aspects of product quality. This role is required to take accountability for the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System while working with all departments to ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintain with a focus on continual improvement. This role establishes, communicates and enforces policies, standards, processes and procedures that are aligned with the context and strategic direction of the organization. Other accountabilities include leading the Management Review, conducting audits, preparing statistical reports, investigating quality issues, effective problem solving, and maintaining the company’s QMS certification to ISO 9001:2015 with a goal of achieving IATF 16949:2016 certification.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment and will have proven ability to manage multiple, complex, sometimes ambiguous tasks with often conflicting priorities. A critical thinker with excellent analytical and communication abilities is required. Experience with ISO 9001, PPAPs and overall Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is required. Experience with IATF 16949 is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Direct Reports: Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor

Secondary Reports: Quality Technicians

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Must be able to frequently bend, squat, climb stairs and ladders, stand, walk, or sit for long periods. Must be able to handle objects (manual dexterity), push and pull, reach above shoulder level and have fine finger movements. Must be able to carry/lift loads of up to 25 lbs. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be capable of regular and reliable attendance. Must be able to work in an environment that may involve exposure to various elements including but not limited to: chemicals, dust, fumes, cold, heat, noise, vibrations and dampness. PPE of safety glasses, hearing protection in designated areas, safety shoes or boots, are required while working in the plant. COVID protection masks may be required.

Pay: $72,057.00 – $85,000.00 per year
