Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced self-motivated Sales & Management professional to lead a
District Sales team in the Baltimore, Maryland Nielsen DMA.

This position is responsible for driving sales to the organization through direct selling, hiring, developing, training (classroom & field sales of both new & existing sales representatives), and managing the performance & profitability of the sales team.

The Regional Sales Manager is the leader accountable for the coaching, mentoring, and development of all Field Sales Representatives in the territory, with a focus on growing customer satisfaction, market share, and exceeding the team’s defined sales & profitability goals.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

– To qualify, the candidate must have an expert level of Sales and Sales Management experience
– Must master all aspects of company operations, and floor-covering product and installation knowledge
– Plans, sets the agenda, and leads sales meetings
– Set quotas and motivate salespeople to achieve their goals, manage & measure performance against the profitability goals of the organization.
– Partner with the customer service department, and assist in their order retention efforts by resolving issues and satisfying customer needs.
– Hiring and staffing
– Performs field training with sales representatives (both in-home presentations and classroom training)

Job Requirements:

– A track record of successful leadership and management of a sales team is required
– A strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Computer literacy, experience with sales CRM programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
