Job Description :

The Regional Vice President – Ambulatory Surgery Center operations will be accountable for developing and maintaining Surgery Center Ops for the Market and Eastern Region in a very evolving system. In addition to leading their Operation ASC CEO’s, this executive will be an instrumental component of Physician Partnership Development, Business Development and own the relationship & management of the Joint Venture partnership.

Driving overall operational strategy, building and aligning operations with a strong organizational culture initiatives will be an essential component of this role.

RVP will support the Center CEO’s as they develop annual budget and strategic plans for individual centers. The RVP must understand each operating environment and be able to organize, train, and delegate to facility personnel while championing a culture that delivers excellent results

Reviews and approve adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, patient and physician experience, along with human utilization.

Review performance against operating plans and budgets.

Develop and recommend operations policy within the Operations Division.

Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

Review and approve annual budgets for his/her division or the facilities within his/her span of control.

Coordinate and collaborate with other divisions of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities, goals and objectives.

Select and maintain qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly to them.

Direct, monitor and appraise the performance of individual direct reports.

Identify training needs, initiate development of subordinates and recommend effective personnel action.

Ensures compliance within area of responsibility

Effectively demonstrate leadership competencies of capability building, interpersonal impact and strategic vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Grand Rapids, MI: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
