Job Description :

HR/Safety Manager- 60K DOE

• Reporting and analysis through tools, portals and reports
• Handling workman’s compensation claims
• Handling all accident reports
• Responsible for transportation recruitment
• Tracking driver physicals/annuals
• Maintaining confidential documents
• Investigating incidents
• Maintenance records
• Review and provide input to the logistics planning for related programs
• Systematically escalate problems or variances in the operation to the Supervisors and Shift Managers

Qualifications

• Strong computer and client systems related skills
• GPS tracking and dispatch related skills preferred but not required.
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to handle the end users in a courteous manner
• This position requires experience in logistics and a working knowledge of hazardous materials
• Ensure all drivers records are updated and maintained
• In-depth knowledge of operating and analysis tools
• Strong background in HR/and or Safety preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in transportation/distribution preferred
• Must apply analytical and creative thinking skills to solve complex/technical problems
• Actively influences team collaboration by contributing ideas and work to the team effort

Pay: $57,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
