About the Position

We are looking for a stellar Talent Specialist to join the People and Culture team at XYPN. You will play a major role in achieving our hiring goals by proactively sourcing experienced professionals to fill a variety of roles within the company. This position works closely with the hiring teams and will be involved in creating a competitive advantage in talent acquisition and retention. This individual must have a proven ability to interact with senior management, think creatively and solve problems as necessary for this position. Additionally, this position will be responsible for onboarding new hires at XYPN. As the first point of contact for many future team members, you’ll be accountable for upholding and championing XYPN’s transparent and inclusive culture. To do this, you’ll recruit with intention, hire with emotional and cultural intelligence, and welcome team members with approachability and meaningful engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Help Hiring Managers compose adequate, compelling job descriptions and help develop advertising/sourcing strategies
  • Conduct compliant recruitments, maintaining an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of XYPN’s diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Guide candidates through every phase of the interview and hiring process.
  • Help new hires learn the company policies, showing new hires their job duties, scheduling start dates as well as setting training dates for new hires, and gathering the necessary onboarding paperwork.
  • Help with coordination of organizational training as well as taking part in developing training schedules.
  • Help out with other HR-related functions

Status: Full-time (40-45 hours per week, non- exempt)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $54,759 annually, with an increase after 6 and 12 months
  • All team members at XYPN are owners! We annually contribute an equivalent of 8% of your compensation to our ESOP for your benefit.
  • Unlimited vacation days to maintain work-life harmony (we require that you take a minimum of 3 weeks of vacation per year)
  • 9 paid holidays when the office is closed.
  • 401(k) with match; you put in 6%, and we put in 4.5%.
