The VP of Laboratory RCM Sales will report to Senior Vice President of Laboratory and Pathology Sales


Job Overview:

As the VP of Laboratory RCM Sales, you will help reference laboratories and pathology groups streamline their Revenue Cycle Management operations in a manner which maximizes revenues and provides insightful business analysis and workflows. The Laboratory and Pathology division of Coronis Health is one of our fastest growing segments and you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of our company.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work directly with laboratories and our operations teams to develop and sell the best of breed RCM solution for each potential partner laboratory.
  • Create a culture of success with ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving sales goals
  • Manage the sales process and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful outreach
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with potential clients, customers and partners and to develop key relationships, as needed

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong sales qualities and direct experience closing sales transactions with laboratories
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational management skills, coupled with the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in a multi-faceted, fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent public presentation and interaction skills, coupled with PC proficiency
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory billing and RCM. Laboratory operations knowledge is a bonus.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of direct sales and business development experience selling RCM and/or other value-added products/ services (ie laboratory consulting services) to clinical laboratories.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong domain knowledge of the entire Revenue Cycle preferred
  • Strong networking skills
  • Strong hunter sales skills
  • Active participation in regional and/or national laboratories
  • Long-term client relationship development and management skills
  • Strong rolodex of relevant contacts in the laboratory space
  • Ability to travel nationwide as necessary.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong closing skills
