• Creates, prepares, and disseminates information and educational materials for schools, community agencies, healthcare providers, and agency staff related to tobacco prevention and control strategies and activities.
• Establishes and fosters strategic partnerships among state agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and business and industry partners to implement goals of the statewide tobacco prevention and control plan.
• Provides technical assistance to local grantees and communities on tobacco prevention and control best practices.
• Oversees tobacco prevention initiatives (e.g., youth empowerment and tobacco-free school programs) to offer assistance in youth-led tobacco prevention efforts.
• Evaluates program plans and objectives to make recommendations for revisions and improvements.
• Assists with development of grant activities and implementation to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
• Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
